How do you get your caffeine? I'm finishing a caramel latte as I write this (I had to. I had a coupon, and a coupon is a terrible thing to waste.) I'll have to go easy for the rest of the day, though, if I want to get any sleep tonight.

I've considered decaffeinating, and, truth be told, I have cut back, but there's no denying that a nice cup of joe or can of cola is the perfect little energy boost.

Teenagers and college students are big fans of those "energy drinks" that come in little tiny bottles that are just the right size to pass TSA standards for shampoo containers. I have a hard time paying several dollars for a little tiny bottle of anything, unless it's Chanel No. 5, and I certainly don't plan to drink that.

Now, Wrigley has taken a page from Willy Wonka and packaged caffeine in the form of chewing gum. Available in April, Wrigley's Alert gum has 40 mg of caffeine per piece--roughly equivalent to half a cup of coffee. Suggested retail is $2.99 for an 8-piece pack of gum.

You might also want to check the kids' Easter baskets this year to see if the Easter Bunny has left them any caffeine in the form of Jelly Belly Extreme Sport Beans. Now that could be dangerous--and delicious.

Packing those Easter baskets? You can order all your favorite flavors of jelly beans straight from Jelly Belly--and with coupon code YOUSAVE15 you'll get 15% off your order of $39 or more!
